Become Empowered, Enabled & Encouraged

The English language holds many clues to understanding life better, and through understanding lies liberation, because ignorance in our Information Age era is enslavement.

For example I have noticed in recent times the metaphor ‘elephant in the room’ gaining increasing usage. It means the problem we will not face up to, the problem we flee from, the problem we pretend does not exist.

We take this route of denying the problem because our schooling never taught us how to think for ourselves or how to solve problems, and, even worse, how to prevent problems from cropping up in the first place.

All problems share the same common feature: we can’t solve them and we could not prevent them.

So we blame others, beat ourselves up, numb ourselves with harmful addictions and habits, get angry and frustrated, feel anxiety and depression, and the concomitant knock to our self-confidence and inner belief in ourselves blocks us from taking any action to emerge into a new, happier, healthier, more adjusted life for ourselves.

We must see and recognise the elephant!

We must accept our pain and suffering we feel, and we must realise it’s not because of ‘out there’, but rather it’s our reaction to the ‘out there’.

Our reaction to the world around is directly related to our level of understanding of both ourselves and the world out there.

Accepting that you yourself are causing your pain is the starting point to turning your life around. We can’t get the elephant out of the room until we see it in the room in the first place, and accept that we put it there, even though we never meant to do this.

So, let’s turn to our wonderful English language to, erm, enlighten ourselves on things…

With a conscious intention, here are four truly amazing things you can become yourself, with or without the help and guidance from others:

  • empowered

  • enabled

  • encouraged

  • enlightened

Let’s write those in a different way to illustrate:

  • emPOWERed

  • enABLEd

  • enCOURAGEd

  • enLIGHTened

that is, to put power into yourself, to develop ability, to act with courage, and to put the light of true perception and intelligent discernment into you.

Or you help others find their own power, ability, courage and light/truth.

Or you find somebody who can help you make them an ever-present feature of your life.

Should your life be largely composed of stress, emotional suffering, mental issues, physical ailments and afflictions, and spiritual emptiness, then this means you lack power, ability, courage and light.

That is NOT the way a human life should be.

But it IS the way for most human beings because our schooling disempowered us, discouraged us, and blocked us from developing our abilities and blocked us from developing true perception with our mind and heart.

If you would like much more power, much more ability, much more courage and much more truth in your daily life, then get onto my weekly Letters, ‘Unleash Your Spirit’! They come out every Monday, and already three have been published (as I write on 24th January 2024).
