Tea Tree House in Chiang Mai
A unique homestay getaway with friendly hosts!
“We loved the week we lived here. The place is big, especially big. The room is also large and fully furnished. There is a pond with fruit trees and two ducks. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The host's wife also assisted us in preparing a dinner party for family and family. All in all, I highly recommend this beautiful place and you will definitely enjoy it as much as we do.”

We also have papaya, banana, pomelo, durian, rambutan, and moringa trees, with pineapples and red dragon fruits growing too. Plenty of Thai herbs and cooking ingredients also grow on our land.

The Tea Tree House Experience
One optimal way to enjoy your holiday experience is to split your time between relaxing at the Tea Tree House and taking half or one day tours.
We can help you build your own itinerary and arrange the whole trip for you.
There are a million things to do and places to visit in Chiang Mai Province!
To help you enjoy your stay at the Tea Tree House, we have a variety of books, including many health-related books, health, golf and travel magazines, 100s of CDs, games, and if you like playing music, an African-style drum, a ukulele and a guitar.
There is a fridge, oven, sink, kettle, teapots and a coffee plunger.
We have also very fast wifi, working spaces, a breakfast bar and dining table, two comfy armchairs, a king size double bed with mosquito net, outdoor areas, and a connected bathroom area at the rear. Enjoy an al fresco shower under the stars!
As nature and countryside air are central to the experience we do not have air-con, but we do have four ceiling fans and one big movable fan. Our ceiling is insulated too.
The Chiang Mai Experience
Chiang Mai is ‘an adventure playground in a natural wonderland’. It has a unique and multi-faceted charm that seduces nearly all visitors. It is the capital of the old Lanna Kingdom, which was separate to Thailand back then.
Aside from enjoying the local countryside experience of Thailand nearby the Tea Tree House, here is a small taste of the many things you can do or places you can visit, which we can build into the itinerary of any tour you may wish to do:
Thai food cooking schools, bamboo rafting, elephant riding, kayaking, trekking, waterfalls, temples, forest and mountain cafes and restaurants, huge flower gardens and resorts, orchid and butterfly farm, herbal steam bath and ice plunge pool, the gigantic Buffalo Market (a real cultural experience!), hot springs, massage (we know the easily the best masseuse in Chiang Mai!), and just a whole load more.
